Ways to Accessorize Your Summer Wardrobe
So you have your summer wardrobe ready, but how do you accessorize? Here are four hot summer trends to enhance your looks this season.
Summer Hats
With the temperatures rising we need to get a bit smarter and start protecting our heads as well as our faces from the sun. Not only do we need sunscreen to guard against those UV rays, but a hat gives us the extra layer of protection against those harmful rays! We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite styles to keep you cool this summer. A hat is your best summer accessory, not to mention it’s great for keeping that unwashed hair just a little longer!
Wide Brimmed Hat - Perfect for the beach or pool, wide brimmed hats give you an extra layer of protection!
Floppy Hat - Make a statement on your vacation or at the beach with these floppy hats! They are so fun and definitely a bold choice to make, but you’ll look amazing!
Bucket Hats - If you’re looking for extra protection from the sun, choose a bucket hat in a fun floral or plain.
Baseball Caps - Whether you’re headed to an actual baseball game or just want to keep your outfit casual, a baseball cap is the perfect summer accessory.
Headscarfs and Headbands
Linen headbands make a great accessory and help keep your hair in control on a hot day. We also love to get creative with silk scarves: just fold a square scarf into a triangle and drape it over your head so that the long edge of the triangle is flat across your forehead. Then, tie the two remaining ends in a knot at the back of your neck and voila!
Tech Accessories
We carry our tech with us every day, and there are now plenty of ways to make stylish statements with tech accessories! We love wearable iPhone cases like the Bandolier simple gold chain: beautiful and practical especially in summer when lighter clothes have fewer pockets — wear your tech instead!
Summer Beach Bags
Now that we are getting outside more, find a straw basket or oversized canvas tote to carry all your gear this summer.
