Meet our client Lori Haverty! Lori has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years, her roots deeply planted in Reading, where she's raising her daughter Lily and has chosen to dedicate her life’s work in fitness. Lori is the proud co-owner of 2...and ready to expand fitness studios, Tread, a cycling, running, and group training studio. Trend is more than just a studio it's a lifestyle. A fitness haven dedicated to health and personal empowerment. Lori and her team aspire to motivate Tread members to feel fit, challenged and part of a close community.
With close to 30 classes scheduled 7 days a week and 2 locations, and little to no days off, most days Lori's clothes are courtesy of Lululemon or her own Tread athletic wear. She has made it her career to focus on helping others to look and feel their best, and for this reason it was our honor to finally be able to help her look and feel amazing.
Lori's goal for her 2 hour 'Style Insider' appointment was to stay true to her personal style, but also to take it to the next level. She was both excited and nervous to have the roles reversed, and be on the receiving end.
Lori booked an appointment with Unfoldid to help her assemble a holiday events wardrobe, and build/pull together polished casual looks. Basically, it was time for her to get out of those gym clothes!
After receiving Lori's completed style informational form, it was our turn to do the heavy lifting! Stylist Annette hit the racks with her shopping list, goals and needs, sizing and personal style in mind. We guide you seamlessly through a beautiful selection of clothes to admire, touch, try on, and buy - or not buy.
Just the right amount of sexy and drama we chose a black sequined top paired with a seasonal velvet blazer to keep Lori warm while remaining appropriate and sophisticated. We added a pop of color by choosing a burgundy leather pant and classic black bootie for a youthful nightlife vibe.
We also LOVE a twist on the little black dress. A strapless fitted v-neckline dress flatters Lori's silhouette in all the right places. She loves showing off her arms (rightfully so), the leather detailing and neckline towards the top half of the dress does just that, while incorporating her personal style. Accessorized with a red heel for the season and sparkly jewelry, Lori is holiday party ready!
The key to a transitional day-to-night look is starting with the basics. In both looks we repeated these dark grey herringbone patterned legging, to differentiate from casual black. For our daytime look, we paired a white trendy sleeveless sweater with brown boots and accessorized with gold jewelry. For a night out, we swapped out white for a black strapless asymmetrical one-shoulder top. With all this attitude you can downplay accessories, and/or pair with an edgy black bootie.
