Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas
On a busy day like Thanksgiving with so many things to prepare, inevitably my personal to-do’s land at the bottom of the list. Before I know it, the doorbell rings and I’m still in the kitchen wearing sweatpants with mashed potatoes in my hair! I bolt upstairs and throw on an uninspired outfit to greet a houseful of guests. From recipe hunting and food shopping to guest room tidying and table setting, planning my outfit slipped off my list. This year I’m planning ahead and taking this one thing off my plate early! (pun intended!)

Jumpsuits are so comfortable and a print won’t show any of the food I spill on it! It’s a win/win. With an abundance of delicious food to prepare and enjoy (as well as hopes of lounging around later), you'll want to wear something that is stylish but comfy.
We’re loving these fall looks our Stylists’ have created. They are cozy and chic, so you can look and feel good throughout the entire day!
What to Wear to a Casual Thanksgiving
A casual crowd calls for a cozy sweater — try it with straight legged jeans or a pull-on pant and loafer to keep your look effortless but contemporary.
Step Up Casual
Looking for a step up from caszh — choose a top with details like lace or embroidery and pair it with jeans and a pump. Since skirts are back on trend, try a sweater paired with a plaid or houndstooth skirt and a neutral-colored bootie.
Dressier
For a dressier crowd, try a versatile jumpsuit topped with a sweater for a sophisticated but comfy look. Or opt for a dress paired with a tall boot instead of a bootie or pump. Sweater dresses have a more relaxed look and are easy to wear, plus your Mom may appreciate the “effort” you made by putting on a dress … your secret is safe with us!
